Dear colleagues,
As you might be aware, EASA's 10th bi-annual Conference will be held in Ljubljana , Slovenia , 26th-30th August 2008.  The list of accepted workshops is now available at the conference website, and the Call for Papers is open until March 31st. 
 
This is to invite you to take part in one of the workshops, convened by Anna Horolets, Monica Heintz and myself, which touches upon issues of interest to europeanists.  W089  Europe and Anthropology. New Themes and Directions in Europeanist Research .  Paper proposals must be submitted online, via the conference website (accessible via EASA's website at: http://www.easaonline.org).  For your best information, I am attaching the abstract of the aforementioned workshop. 
 
We are also planning to convene the Europeanist network 'business meeting' in the course of the conference. Therefore, if you have any suggestions as regards the agenda for this meeting, please let us know asap.
