Networks: Peace and Conflict Studies in Anthropology Network
PACSA was established as an EASA network in 2005, and is a network of scholars from all over Europe who co-operate in the field of peace and conflict studies in anthropology. PACSA aims to advance the anthropological study of armed conflict and other forms of organised violence, processes of conflict resolution, post-conflict reconstruction and reconciliation, and related issues. Furthermore, PACSA seeks to make this type of study relevant across disciplinary boundaries and outside the academy.
Read more about the network; previous PACSA workshops in EASA conferences, upcoming workshops and conferences, or PACSA meetings are described on the Events page. The next bi-annual PACSA meeting takes place this October.
