Translation Series

This new series will translate and publish in English a series of key theoretical and ethnographic texts in Social Anthropology already published in Europe in other European languages. It aims to make available in English materials and approaches that have been developed within different European anthropological traditions to not only disseminate ethnographic and theoretical work produced in Europe but also to promote our understanding of how anthropology has developed in different European countries.

The series will include texts that have had significant theoretical impact, established and new ethnographies and edited collections, both by established and new authors. The regional focus of ethnographic work that will be considered for this series is open.
