The EASA network on Linguistic Anthropology (ELAN) workshops

The ELAN Online Workshop provides ELAN members with a forum to share their work with other linguistic anthropologists and to receive friendly feedback on research in progress. We hope that participants will find it to be a fruitful place, both to develop their own writing and also to learn about peers’ research. Please sign up to the ELAN listserv to be informed about upcoming meetings.

In 2020-21, the workshop will meet approximately once a month on Thursdays. Meeting times can vary so please check the workshop schedule for each session’s starting time. Workshop meetings will take place on Zoom. We will start with a short (5-10 minute) presentation by the paper author. This will be followed by short discussant comments (5-10 minutes) and a general discussion. All participants are asked to read the pre-circulated texts in advance.

Please contact the workshop coordinators, Meghanne Barker (meghanne.barker(at)gmail.com) and Janet Connor (j.e.connor(at)hum.leidenuniv.nl), with suggestions, comments, or questions.
