EASA Media Anthropology Network Mailing List

In October 2004 the EASA Media Anthropology Network set up a mailing list to ease the exchange of information and cooperation among network participants. The list has grown steadily ever since - mostly by word of mouse - and we now have more than 1,600 subscribers from a wide range of backgrounds and locations.

We use the list to share information on media anthropology events, publications, jobs, etc, as well for spontaneous discussions which complement the more structured e-seminars.

How can I join the EASA Media Anthropology Network mailing list?

To join the list you can either contact Sahana Udupa or Elisabetta Costa explaining briefly your interest in the anthropology of media or go directly to the Subscription page. Please give your full name when subscribing as it will accelerate the process.

How can I change my mailing list subscriber options or get a password reminder?

To edit subscriber options, change email, get a password reminder, etc. go to the list info page.

Although participants are strongly encouraged to join EASA if they meet the criteria of eligibility, membership of EASA is not a prerequisite for subscribing to the Media Anthropology Network mailing list. The mailing list is open to scholars, research students and others anywhere in the world who have a legitimate interest in the anthropology of media.

Once you have joined we would appreciate it if you could introduce yourself and your media anthropological interests to the list by writing to medianthro[at]lists.easaonline.org
